中央经济工作会议在北京举行

中央经济工作会议12月10日至12日在北京举行。中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平，中共中央政治局常委、国务院总理李克强，中共中央政治局常委栗战书、汪洋、王沪宁、赵乐际、韩正出席会议。

习近平在会上发表重要讲话，总结2019年经济工作，分析当前经济形势，部署2020年经济工作。李克强在讲话中对明年经济工作作出具体部署，并作了总结讲话。

The annual Central Economic Work Conference was held in Beijing from Tuesday to Thursday, as Chinese leaders charted the course for the economy in 2020.

In a speech at the conference, Chinese President Xi Jinping reviewed the country's economic work in 2019, analyzed the current situation and outlined key tasks for 2020. 

According to the conference, the central government has managed major economic tasks amid complicated situations at home and abroad.

It was emphasized at the conference that while affirming the achievements, the government must soberly realize that China is in the critical period of transforming its development model, optimizing its economic structure, and shifting its growth momentum. 

It must be noted downward pressure on China's economic growth is on the rise, the world economic growth continues to slow down and is still in the adjustment period following the international financial crisis. 

The meeting pointed out that China's economy remains stable and the basic trend of long-term improvement will not change for the foreseeable future. 

With the strong leadership of the CPC, socialism with Chinese characteristics, solid material and technical foundation accumulated since the reform and opening up, as well as a large-scale market and domestic demand, China will surely overcome various risks and challenges.
